Appeals Court Will Not Take Up All of Blagojevich Convictions

The 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals announced on Wednesday that it will not rehear the appeal of former Governor Rod Blagojevich’s corruption convictions.

The imprisoned former governor had been in hope that the court would rehear all of the convictions against him, after a court decision last month threw out five of the counts against him.

Blagojevich could still appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.
