2015 Through Your Eyes

My Social Jacksonville announces “2015 Through Your Eyes”, a retrospective of the year gone by in Jacksonville, South Jacksonville, and Morgan County.

As the title suggests, this will be a crowd-sourced article, with a target publish date of Monday, December 28th.

We invite you to submit – either by private message via the My Social Jacksonville Facebook page or by email (mysocialjacksonville@gmail.com) – your highlights of 2015 in our community.

What were the big events that left a lasting impact on you and your family? What was your take on the changes in South Jacksonville’s Village Hall? What was your opinion of or what role did you take in the community effort to see changes come to South Jacksonville? What happened in Jacksonville that raised an eyebrow or two this year? What national or world events stood out to you and why?

We will take all submissions and publish (with only proofreading editing used for spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc… we will not edit content or free thought in any way unless obligated for legal reasons) them in an article here on MySocialJacksonville.com.

So that everything is above board, we ask that you adhere to the following guidelines and requests for information in your submission(s):

1) While opinions are encouraged, please try to stick to a reasonable level of civility. Any comments that could be taken as slander or libel will not be published.

2) My Social Jacksonville claims no responsibility for submitted content. If you submit material to us, you expressly consent to the possible use of your words and accept full and total responsibility – legal or otherwise – for any consequences that may come from your words being published.

3) All submissions must include the author’s first and last name, street address, email address, and telephone number. The only information that will be shared will be the author’s name on their submitted material. Contact information will be kept private and used for verification purposes (i.e., did you really submit this material?).
