IHSA Releases Football Schedules for 2017 Season

The Illinois High School Association has released football schedules for member schools for the 2017-18 school year.

Jacksonville will face an immediate test, as the Crimsons open the season at home on Friday, August 25th. Other home games for the 2017 season include Rochester, Chatham Glenwood, Springfield (H.S.), and Decatur MacArthur. The Crimsons will play road games at Decatur Eisenhower, Springfield (Southeast), and Lanphier. In addition, Jacksonville will play Central State Eight Conference newcomer Normal U-High at Illinois State University’s Hancock Stadium on September 29th.

Routt will try to rebound from a winless 2016 season when they open on the road on August 25th against North Greene and new head coach, Barry Creviston. The Rockets will play their first of four home games the next week, September 1st, against Hardin Calhoun. Three of the four home tilts will be played at Illinois College; the remaining game will be played at ISD. Road games for Routt include Triopia, Beardstown, and Carrollton.
